In our latest podcast, Alex Colas joined Risa Arai in an interview about ‘empire’. Empire and imperialism have traditionally been associated with the big wave of expansion of states in Early Modern and Modern European history, but in this podcast we use the paradigm of ‘empire’ as a tool to look at current international relations.
