Applications for two PhD studentships now open
Applications are now open for Bonnart Trust and Boughton PhD Scholarships
The Department of History, Classics and Archaeology would like to draw attention to the opening the Bonnart Trust and Boughton PhD Scholarships.
The Bonnart Trust scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding candidate whose research topic explores a theme concerned with either 'diversity and belonging' or 'minorities and social justice'. One fully-funded three year studentship is available, and candidates should usually have an upper second-class undergraduate honours degree, or equivalent, and a Master’s degree, or equivalent.
The closing date for applications is Friday 31 January 2020.
The Boughton PhD scholarship is made possible due to a very generous legacy donation from Margery Boughton, an alumna of the College. The awarded projects alternate between history (broadly defined) and interdisciplinary projects each round. For this round, it is dedicated to a history project, which must be historical in subject and approach. The next round will be open in 2022-23 for an interdisciplinary project.
The closing date for applications is Friday 6 March 2020.
