Birkbeck has been invited to participate in the London Warwick Mind Forum
The London Warwick Mind Forum is a cross-institutional research community for postgraduate research students working in the philosophy of mind (broadly construed).
The network consists of students in the philosophy departments of the University of Warwick, King’s College London and University College London, and has recently been joined by Birkbeck and the London School of Economics.
The Forum runs a student-led, half-day conference twice a year in either London or Warwick, at which students present and receive feedback on work-in-progress.
The next meeting of the London Warwick Mind Forum will be held on 8 November 2018 at UCL. Details of the speakers, their papers and the respondents will be announced shortly. MA students interested in the philosophy of mind, as well as postgraduate research students, are welcome to attend.
LSE and Birkbeck will jointly contribute to the Forum as one institution, and be represented by one speaker and one respondent. LSE will provide the speaker for the upcoming meeting in November, and a speaker from Birkbeck will be selected in the Spring.
If you are interested either in speaking or responding at the Forum please contact the Birkbeck representative: Tom Frankfort.
