Dr Naomi Lightman, who is a Sessional Lecturer on the Literature Certificate, will be on TV in an episode of The Story of England as an expert on the Romantic writer Anna Barbauld. The programme will be screened at 7pm on BBC2 on Monday, November 15.
The Story of England TV series looks at English history through a focus on the village of Kibworth. It was the home village in the 18th century of the girl who grew up to be Anna Barbauld the writer. Naomi has given several lectures about Barbould, including at the National Portrait Gallery.
Anna Barbould is included on Naomi’s current course on Romanticism.
