Birkbeck offering places through Clearing
There are still places left on many courses through Clearing, call 020 3907 0700 to apply, and come along to our Clearing Student Experience Day on Saturday from 12 to 3pm to discover what makes Birkbeck so special.
Millions of students up and down the country have found out their A Level results this morning. For those students looking for a place through Clearing, Birkbeck’s unique offer of high-quality evening classes and a central London location make it the perfect option. This is especially true for students wanting to get a job while studying at the prestigious University of London, either to kickstart their career or to help support themselves through university.
Students can apply to Birkbeck now through Clearing by calling 020 3907 0700 (view the hotline opening hours here).
For those that would like to visit the campus and find out more about what Birkbeck has to offer, students can attend Clearing Student Experience Day on Saturday 20 August. Attendees will be able to take a tour, led by current students, of Birkbeck’s Bloomsbury campus; listen to talks from Birkbeck’s support services; meet current students; and attend drop-in sessions with Support Services staff and with academics from each of our departments. Alternatively, students can attend a Birkbeck Student Experience Evening at the Birkbeck campus on Monday 22 August, from 4 to 6pm; or attend campus tours from 3 to 5pm on Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 August.
Lynn Grimes, Director of Marketing and External Relations at Birkbeck, said: “Birkbeck’s Clearing hotline has been very busy today but we still have undergraduate courses available through Clearing.
“As an evening university, we attract many students who work during the day, and we’ve been doing this for nearly 200 years. Studying whilst working helps students minimise the debt they leave university with when they graduate, as well as giving them a step up on the career ladder. Birkbeck graduates earn among the highest salaries in the country.
“Huge congratulations to those that have already received offers from Birkbeck and we look forward to welcoming you to Birkbeck in autumn.”
