Birkbeck reacts to Government's A-level announcement
We will welcome all students who meet the conditions of their original offer to Birkbeck, alongside those who we have already offered places to over the last few days.
Birkbeck has a long history of providing opportunity for everyone. We welcome the Government’s announcement that A-level grades will now be determined by teacher assessments. We have always seen grades as just one element that each student has to offer and made assessments based on their full range of personal achievements and qualities.
If your grades have changed as a result of the Government announcement confirming that teacher assessments will be used to establish grades and you would like to study for a prestigious University of London degree in the evenings, we will find the right course for you.
We will welcome all students who meet the conditions of their original offer to Birkbeck, alongside those who we have already offered places to over the last few days. Our Clearing lines are open on 020 3907 0700 until the end of September and we will be happy to provide advice and support to all applicants to find a place on a course that is appropriate for them.
