From 11am to 4pm this Saturday 29 June, Birkbeck will welcome over 1,000 visitors for its Open Day. There are still spaces available for those interested in finding out more about studying at the university.

Those visiting will have the opportunity to take a tour of the university’s central London campus, led by current students; attend talks on student advice and finance; listen to current student and alumni panels; attend academic subject talks to learn more about subjects and speak to academic staff; and get any questions answered by the Birkbeck Admissions, Student Advice, Wellbeing, Alumni and Careers and Employability teams.

Professor Sally Wheeler, Vice-Chancellor of Birkbeck, will be speaking at the welcome talks. She commented: “I’m very much looking forward to welcoming those considering studying with us to our campus this Saturday. Our open days provide an excellent opportunity to visit Birkbeck and find out more about what it’s like to be a student here.

“Birkbeck helps anyone who has the ability and drive to succeed to access an excellent university education, regardless of their circumstances, and we've been doing so for over 200 years. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our student body and the value this brings to our learning community. We're experienced at providing flexible learning and we offer a range of options - full-time, part-time, evening and afternoon study, on-campus and online - to help you decide when and how you study.”

Booking in advance is essential to attend Birkbeck Open Days. There are spaces available for Saturday’s open day – book your place now. Friends and family are welcome to attend but there is no need to register them.
