Centre for Media, Culture and Creative Practice: Events
The Centre for Media, Culture and Creative Practice will be developing a programme of events exploring the question “what is creativity?” from theoretical and practice-based perspectives.
Through a series of workshops, conversations, online debates and seminars, we hope to demystify the notion of creativity and its relationship to cultural studies, academic work, cultural resistance, art and labour, personal and social transformation, and the rhetoric of artistic freedom and individuality.
The programme will be launched with a round table session to explore some of the key conceptions and misconceptions that surround the idea of creativity.
