Chartered Institute of Marketing recognises Marketing Suite
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is the leading professional body for marketers worldwide and exists to develop the marketing profession, maintain professional standards and improve the skills of marketing practitioners. Birkbeck, University of London has joined forces with CIM to give our students the opportunity to gain CIM professional qualifications through their Multi Award Pathway (MAP). CIM qualifications are highly sought after by employers, and MAP alongside our own degrees, ensures we are equipping our students with the best opportunities for a successful marketing career.
Our MSc Marketing Suite has been mapped against CIM/CAM qualifications to offer our students exemptions. The programmes include:
- MSc Marketing
- International Marketing
- Marketing Communications
- Services & Retail Marketing
- Sport Marketing
Our students need to achieve at least a pass in their Masters to be awarded the CIM exemptions*.

* Exemptions from two Professional Diploma in Marketing units: Delivering Customer Value through Marketing and Project Management in Marketing. Students will be required to pass two units: Marketing Planning Process and Managing Marketing to achieve the Professional Diploma in Marketing qualification.
