ESRC Seminar Series on Cancer And Employment - Seminar 5
The fifth seminar on Cancer and Employment: Perspectives of the Employing Organisation will be held at Birkbeck on November 15th, 2016.
As part of The METIS Collaboration, the Centre for Sustainable Working Life at Birkbeck University of London, is funded by the ESRC to organise a series of six Discussion Seminars on Cancer & Employment. These seminars offer opportunities for multidisciplinary and multi-professional groups to consider different social science perspectives on issues relating to cancer and employment.
We would like to invite you to attend the fifth seminar of six. This will consider the perspective of the employing organisation.

Registration:
The seminar is open to all those involved with the issue of cancer and employment or who are developing an interest in that area. Seminars in the present series have attracted a multidisciplinary and multi-professional participation involving academics, advisers, researchers, practitioners and policy makers. Among others, participants have been health and care professionals, social scientists, employers, from Human Resources, the trades unions and occupational health services, the legal and insurance industries, and a variety of professional and third sector organisations.
The event is free. There is an upper limit on available places.

Refreshments
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at the beginning of the morning session and during the afternoon. A buffet lunch will also be provided.
Travel:
Gordon Square is one of the many beautiful squares which are found in Bloomsbury; squares with much history.
It is easily accessible from both Euston and St Pancras / Kings Cross mainline stations and is also a short walk from Marylebone mainline station. The nearest tube stations, in addition to those serving the mainline stations are: Russell Square, Goodge Street and Euston Square.
