On Monday 7th December, Justice Cameron of the South African Constitutional Court and visiting Judge at the School of Law at Birkbeck will deliver a Public lecture titled: ‘The Dilemma of AIDS: Persisting Problems’.
Fiona McMillan chairs the final workshop of the research project ‘Economic Survival in a Long Established Creative Industry: Strategies, Business Models and Copyright in Music Publishing’, funded by the AHRC, which is coming to a close. The workshop is on Copyright and Business Models in Music Publishing and will be taking place on Wednesday 9th December.

In the New Year, Dr Sarah Keenan is hosting Lateral Property: Land, Law and Power Beyond Freehold “Ownership”. The event, which takes place on Friday 15th January, will explore the concept of ownership and the legal mechanisms through which the geographies of late capitalism are produced and maintained.
