Inside the Outside at the Institute of Contemporary Arts

Senior Lecturer in the History of Architecture, Leslie Topp, recently spoke at an event ‘Inside the Outside’ at the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
Looking to re-evaluate the notion of the 'other' in art, Inside the Outside took a closer look at the tendency in 20th and 21st Century art to exoticise non-traditional, non-western or non-academic creative practices. Leslie was joined by James Brett - founder and director of the Museum of Everything, and artist and writer Neal Brown.
