Japanese Cinema History: film screenings 2011
From October to December 2011, we will be hosting free film screenings of classic Japanese films.
From October to December 2011, free film screenings of classic Japanese films - including Rashomon (November 7) and Godzilla (December 5) - will be taking place in the Birkbeck Cinema on Monday evenings. These are open to all students, staff, and interested parties outside of Birkbeck. Anyone interested in attending a screening should register with the course convenor, Oliver Dew. All films are screened from DVD.
The Department of Media and Cultural Studies at Birkbeck, University of London, offers short courses, BA and MA programmes in Japanese studies.
