‘Kafka’s Monkey’ at Young Vic

Colin Teevan's play, Kafka’s Monkey, an adaptation of Kafka’s Report to the Academy, returns to the Young Vic.

Playwright and Birkbeck lecturer Colin Teevan will have his play Kafka’s Monkey, an adaptation of Kafka’s Report to the Academy, return to the Young Vic in April on its way through a world tour having opened in London two years ago and played in Sydney, Melbourne, Athens and Paris. It will be playing in Tokyo, Milan and New York in the coming year.

The Young Vic describes the play as ‘A witty, heart-rending and ironic tale of forced assimilation into an alien culture, Kafka’s Monkey places a startling mirror in front of a modern day audience.’
