The eminent social feminist, academic Lynne Segal will be presenting the Thomas Paine Society lecture 2014.
Prof Segal is anniversary professor of psychology and gender studies at Birkbeck College, London. Her talk, The Silver Tsunami and Popular Panics will explore the paradoxes and challenges of aging, amidst speculation of a demographic ‘time bomb' and the stirring up of generational tensions against the so-called ‘Baby Boomers'.
