The Scandalous Lady W, a BBC drama written by David Eldridge and starring Natalie Dormer, to be aired on BBC Two
The true story of Lady Worsley is brought to life by award-winning writer David Eldridge, Playwright and Lecturer in Creative Writing in the Department of English and Humanities.
Eldridge has based his screenplay on historian and broadcaster Hallie Rubenhold’s book Lady Worsley’s Whim 'a thrilling tale of romance, revenge, and obsession which follows the lives of Sir Richard and Lady Worsley as they survive financial ruin, foreign adventure and revolution.'
The Scandalous Lady W airs on BBC Two on Thursday 20 August.
