Strategy and the Underdog
The development of strategy as theory and practice is best understood from the perspective of the underdog facing superior force. The strategic problems of the strong are far less interesting as they will be based on overwhelming opponents. Using historical and contemporary examples, the lecture will outline the strategic options available to underdogs.
