Precarious Citizenship conference
In partnership with Migrant Children’s Legal Unit
Karen Wells in partnership with Migrant Children’s Legal Unit and with support from Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities organised a conference on June 1 2016 on Precarious Citizenship. It was attended by over 200 practitioners and academics and addressed the challenges faced by young people who have lived in Britain for many years, often since early childhood, but do not have legal citizenship.
