A new book on political theory and political sociology, Legality and Legitimacy: Normative and Sociological Approaches, jointly edited by Chris Thornhill (University of Glasgow) and Samantha Ashenden, is shortly to be published by Nomos publishers.
The book brings together the work of a number of internationally prominent legal theorists, political theorists, sociologists, historians and philosophers, and it focuses on conceptual questions regarding the legitimacy of power in contemporary societies. View further information about the book.
