Sir Charles Bean on Brexit

Sir Charles Bean, former Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy at the Bank of England, discussed issues surrounding the UK referendum on leaving the EU.

Sir Charles Bean - Professor of Economics at the LSE, former Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy at the Bank of England, and author of the recent independent review of the quality, delivery and governance of UK economic statistics - kindly agreed to debate views on the possible implications of Brexit for the UK and EU.

Held in Birkbeck's Keynes Library, Sir Charles discussed the main economic issues along with academics from the department and members of the Birkbeck Economics Network (Big BEN), for this inaugural MSc alumni event.
