Dr Sophia Connell will give two talks on blood in Aristotle's 'Parts of Animals'
Dr Sophia Connell will speak at the second of a series of workshops on Aristotle's Parts of Animals. This workshop will look at blood, 'what does Aristotle think it is, what does he use it to explain, and what can this tell us about how Aristotle understands the relationship between the basic materials an animal is made of and its environment, character, behaviours, and even its place in the cosmic hierarchy.'
