Birkbeck’s annual Science Week is taking place from Tuesday 30 May to Tuesday 6 June, with the option to join in-person or virtually.
Projects ranged from recovering the heritage of Stratford; the recognition of craftwork amongst Chilean prisoners under Chilean General Augusto Pinochet; to developing policies for innovation in Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member states.
This year’s Science Week, open to the public, is taking place from 29 March to 31 March, with the option to join in-person or virtually.
Graduates from around the world celebrated their successes in the virtual Autumn graduation ceremonies, and a number have shared their personal stories in a series of inspiring blogs.
The festival is set to include a programme of live virtual events open to audiences globally, with artists’ and curators’ talks, conversations with filmmakers, and discussions with critics and researchers. Book your place onto the events now.
This year, Birkbeck’s Arts festival has gone completely virtual and will run from 18 May to 19 June. Highlights include a Birkbeck academic in conversation with author Deborah Levy and live performances from Louise Wilcox and Shabnam Shabazi.
