    Biography

    Aphrodite teaches courses on Byzantine History and Ancient Greek Language at the Universities of London and Oxford. She has a particular interest in the Byzantine-Western relations (especially relations between the Byzantine empire and the crusades) as well as on the political, ecclesiastical and cultural history of the Byzantine empire.

    She has published articles on various topics of Byzantine History in international journals and collections of studies.
