Overview
Biography
Hayley is an award winning registered occupational psychologist, with 25 years’ experience in the field. She specialises in leadership and management behaviour and how this impacts the culture and performance of teams and organisations. Her doctoral research focused on the psychological factors that enable female entrepreneurs to succeed in the start-up phase of establishing a first business.
Together, Hayley and Clare Mulligan-Foster manage the first part of the innovative Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology. Part one is the MRes in Professional Practice in Occupational Psychology which is designed to engage practitioners in evidence-based practice and supervised practice-led research across the field. Both parts of the professional doctorate are dual accredited by both the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and represent the first alternative routes to chartership and registration within the occupational psychology profession.
Hayley and Clare also each run their own consultancies. Hayley’s consultancy work sees her supporting organisations with all aspects of leadership and management development, along with culture change and performance improvement. She has become well-known for her use of social media to communicate and educate around all things to do with occupational psychology.
