Aspire
Aspire is a payment solution which allows Birkbeck to make payments of either money or gift vouchers quickly and without the need to collect bank details.
Aspire uses the NatWest PayIt functionality to allow the you to send the payment to your chosen bank account.
How to Withdraw Funds
Once your Birkbeck Aspire account is set up, you will receive an email from customer.service@bbk-aspire.co.uk with login details for your Birkbeck Aspire account.
You will receive a separate email when payment has been allocated to your account. To withdraw the funds, log into the Birkbeck Aspire account.
On withdrawing the payment from your Aspire account, you can select which of your bank accounts to send the payment to. You will need to either log in to internet banking or enter the account and sort code you would like the payment sent to. Funds can be loaded to any UK current or savings account, or a Revolut or Monzo account.
Once you have withdrawn the payment, it is usually available in your bank account instantly, but may take up to two hours.
Security
It can be tricky to spot a scam message. We'll never send you an email which contains an embedded web link that is not on the Birkbeck website (float over the link without clicking on it to check the web address).

You can reset your password by selecting ‘Forgot Password’ on the Birkbeck Aspire account login screen.
