We're experienced at providing a flexible approach to learning and, depending on your course, we offer a range of options - full-time, part-time, evening and daytime study, on campus and online - to help you decide when and how you study.

The majority of our courses run in the evenings with classes between 6pm and 9pm. This allows our students to fulfil their other commitments during the day and study with us in the evening.
From autumn 2024, we also have a selection of courses available to study in the daytime. Explore which of our selected courses offer daytime timetables.
With some courses, there are options to study on campus, online or flexibly with some study online and some on campus, so you can select a course and study option that fits around you.

Our professional recruitment service helps Birkbeck students, during and after their studies, to gain relevant work experience. Many of our students also work, volunteer or intern while they study, making them better placed to succeed in a competitive job market.
