Centre for doctoral training

Today more and more research students are using AI and data analytics technique as a research tool without much relevant background. As a CDT, we also support such hardworking and self-taught students within the College.

The work of the clinic supports the Birkbeck Institute for Data Analytics in its mission to:

  • facilitate knowledge exchange
  • identify collaborative research opportunities
  • create professional networks, and
  • develop relevant skillsets to support this work.

The programme is led by Dr Paul Yoo, Reader in Computer Science in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences and BIDA Deputy Director for Knowledge Exchange.
