About us
Living with Crocodilians is a working group of the IUCN SSC Crocodile Specialist Group, chaired by Charlie Manolis and Alejandro Larriera. Our work on human-crocodilian interactions is coordinated with the CSG through Matthew Brien.
The Working Group aims to support those involved in human-crocodilian interactions, including community leaders, local authorities, conservation researchers, and government agencies, to mitigate attacks and foster coexistence.
Formed in late 2024, following the CSG Working Group Meeting in Darwin, Australia, the working group is chaired by Simon Pooley (UK), with an international team of expert members
