Digitalisation and business analytics research
The Birkbeck Business School's digitalisation and business analytics theme focuses on how digital technologies (including blockchain, cloud computing, and internets of things) enhance business operations and customer relations. It explores the impact of AI and AI-based decision making, big data and social media analytics, augmented and virtual reality, cyber security, and data privacy in fostering an intelligent digital economy and society.
Our researchers uniquely blend technical understanding in AI, big data, and cyber security with an interdisciplinary critical perspective, which allows us to conduct relevant research with a variety of stakeholders in this fast-changing field.
