Collaborations

To achieve our research goals, we integrate interdisciplinary approaches and collaborate extensively with scientists from around the world. We work closely with ISMB Chemistry Labs, ISMB Biophysics Unit and the Rosalind Franklin Laboratory for biochemical and biophysical characterisation of mycobacterial proteins and protein crystallography respectively. 

We access Containment Level 3/4 facilities at the Royal Free Hospital, UCL, through an academic research contract between UCL and Birkbeck. We represent a core member of Tuberculosis Drug Discovery Consortium, UK, UCL-TB, UCL-AMR, Microbiology@UCL , UK Antibiotic  Discovery Network and NTM-UK Network.

Our research is externally supported by the Medical Research Council, UK, the Wellcome Trust, Commonwealth Scholarships Commission, British Council-Newton Fund and the EU Science Funds.
