Birkbeck's campus is energised by being in the hub of London's thriving university district. Our location gives you convenient and easy access to all that London has to offer. Every building, balcony and bench in Gordon Square has a story to tell. This is where Virginia Woolf spent her younger days, alongside English writers, intellectuals, philosophers and artists known as the Bloomsbury Group.

373 EUSTON ROAD

This new campus space on Euston Road houses Birkbeck's largest lecture theatres, new classrooms, as well as a co-learning space designed for you to prepare for lectures and share ideas with other students.

BIRKBECK CENTRAL

Inside Birkbeck Central, classrooms are filled with natural light with views over the tree-lined Malet Street. Our neighbours are Waterstone's book shop and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). There's also a ground floor café.

CLORE MANAGEMENT CENTRE

The Clore Management Centre is the home of Birkbeck's Business School. This purpose-built teaching and research centre overlooks the green spaces of Torrington Square.

GOWER STREET

Gower Street

With neighbours including the British Museum and Senate House Library, Gower Street is a three-minute walk from Birkbeck's main building and is the home of law students and politics students. 

MALET STREET, MAIN BUILDING

The Malet Street building on Torrington Square is Birkbeck's main campus hub. It houses the student bar, roof terrace, cafés, seminar rooms and the library, plus every Thursday, street food vendors take over the square serving up lunch as part of Bloomsbury Farmers’ Market.

These buildings overlook the green spaces of Russell Square. 25-26 Russell Square is home to students of archaeology, classics, history and philosophy, and 30 Russell Square is the location of Birkbeck Centre for Counselling.

Senate House is an iconic Art Deco statement on the London skyline. As a Birkbeck student, you are part of the University of London and can gain access to the Senate House library.
