Marketing and customer insights research
Our Marketing and Consumer Insights academic staff have a shared interest in making 'better marketing for a better world'. Our socially engaged research seeks to leverage the power of marketing and consumption to promote consumer wellbeing and create social, environmental and economic value in society.
We are highly diverse, bringing together academics with a wide spectrum of methodological expertise, from consumer experiments, surveys, to ethnography, netnography, observation and in-depth qualitative interviews. Our work addresses topical issues in the fascinating world of consumer behaviour including branding, consumer culture, consumer psychology, corporate communications, digital marketing and socially responsible behaviour.
The published work builds on social psychology, sociology, and management studies and generates thought-provoking insights that inform policy and management practice.
